Omaha Marae Church Services 2015
2013 saw the reintroduction of faith services back to our Marae.
Spearheaded by the wonderful Nimmo Whanau, the kaupapa is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and uplift our Marae.
Matua Paul and Whaea Mona Nimmo, deliver a one hour interdenominational service followed by a shared kai.
Waiata Himene is a core aspect in this worship.
The services take place at 10am on the first Sunday of each month.
We would love to see you there.
Any enquiries can be forwarded to Paul Nimmo email@example.com or on his mobile 0272592025
The services have been running for almost a year and a half.
The faithful few continue to gather once a month to offer praise and worship to our lord and saviour - Jesus Christ.
The focus of the group has to been to pray for the health and wellbeing of the the Marae and its people.
This will continue to be the focus as we enter the New YearPosted: Saturday 27 December 2014
Upon arriving at the Marae, my whanau was greeted by beautiful Waiata coming from the Wharenui. The Nimmo's had prepared an awesome service starting with old and new Hymns. These waiata set the tone for the service which Matua Paul Nimmo delivered. Mona Nimmo closed the service with karakia and special prayer requests for the whanau. Teina Nimmo will start the children's programme at the next service. Next service is at 10am on Sunday 1st September. Janelle PenjueliPosted: Tuesday 6 August 2013
