A Rangatahi of the Te Kiri whanau, Star is a daughter of artists Tilly and Peter Gossage and is one of five siblings. She has just celebrated her 40th birthday but the volume and quality of her work is of an artist beyond her years.

At only 15 years old, Lyndiana is already a Waka Ama veteran. Her achievements to date are remarkable and will soon see her competing at the highest level in the World.

Vern Rosieur has a solid reputation as a leader and facilitator within his field. Over the years he has been acknowledged for his contributions and hard work and that was again demonstrated when he received this award at the latest Industry Awards.

Paula is an internationally acclaimed fiction writer. Her most recent novel, RANGATIRA, won the fiction award at the 2012 NZ Post Book Awards and the Nga Kupu Ora Maori Book Awards.
